About Dupont Learning

Dupont Learning was founded in December 1988 by Tom and Dyan Dupont when they purchased a Priority Management Training franchise (Vancouver, BC) and set up shop in Cheshire Connecticut. For 13 years the Dupont’s provided personal, team and organizational productivity type training for companies large and small across the Northeast. Within a few years, Dupont Learning was one of the largest Priority Management Franchises, delivering training to companies including Coca-Cola, Unilever, UTC (Pratt & Whitney, Otis Elevator, Sikorsky, Carrier), General Electric, Richardson-Vicks, Bayer, BIC, Union Carbide, Pfizer, and many others.

In the early 2000’s, companies were beginning to appreciate the advantages of e-learning – and looking to integrate common off-the-shelf topics, like leadership, customer service, time management skills, etc., their own product training, and scores of compliance-type training – into web-based, e-learning formats.

To help fill this need, Dupont Learning researched the best e-learning authoring tools and began creating custom, interactive, self-paced courses – as well as converting their own time management course (delivered to more than 40,000 company employees) to self-paced e-learning. Upon request, they would also train customers to create their own courses using top-rated authoring tools like Lectora, Captivate and Articulate.  To date, Dupont Learning has created over 1,000 self-paced e-learning courses.

In 2006, Dupont Learning licensed Trivantis’ CourseMill LMS, and began hosting customer courses from their new domain, eLearnDepot.com.

Business proceeded to grow, and Dupont Learning continued to provide training (mostly online courses) and hosting (via elearndepot.com) to large and small companies across the US.

After 30 years in business, Dupont Learning has developed an extensive worldwide partner network, that includes writers, course developers, IT programmers, professional hosting services, voice-over artists, translators, video and animation professionals, etc.  There is no company or project too large or too small, and Dupont Learning has handled assignments from only a few pages and very little money, to million-word e-learning courses in Chinese!

Today, our clients include many Fortune 500 companies and government organizations including Connecticut companies, UTC, BIC and Sikorsky Aircraft.
