About Dupont Learning

Dupont Learning was founded in December 1988 by Tom and Dyan Dupont when they purchased a Priority Management Training franchise in Cheshire Connecticut. For 13 years the Duponts provided personal, team and organizational productivity type training for companies large and small in the Northeast. Within a few years, Dupont Learning was one of the largest Priority Management Franchises, delivering training to companies including Coca-Cola, Unilever, UTC, General Electric, Richardson-Vicks, Bayer, Union Carbide, Pfizer, and many others.

In 2003, companies were beginning to understand and appreciate the advantages and benefits of online learning. They were beginning to look for off-the-shelf titles that helped their employees learn computer skills, and other “soft” skills, like supervisor, or customer service training. They were also looking for custom courses, and they were eager to learn to create content themselves. So Dupont Learning researched the best authoring and Learning Management tools and began creating custom eLearning courses. Upon request, they would also train customers to create their own courses using top-rated authoring tools like Lectora, Captivate and Articulate.

In addition, Dupont Learning also began representing large eLearning content providers, including SkillSoft and Element K and MindLeaders.

Business proceeded to grow, and Dupont Learning continued to provide training (mostly online courses) to large and small companies across the US.
